Tropical Depression Imelda moved up inland until it finally died out Friday morning just below North Texas. The place most impacted by this storm was Houston. They had historic flooding, some places got up to 43 inches of rain! Water flooded into homes, covered roads, and almost completely covered homes in low lying areas. A major highway was even shut down after a barge slammed into it overnight because of the extremely high water levels. After a terrible storm, 5 people are left dead while many more are still missing.
UPDATE: North Texas is going to possibly have above average temperatures this winter.
