The Results are in! The WC Photo Contest started just over 65 days ago and now today it has finished! The purpose of this contest was to get WC lovers out into nature, take pictures, and enjoy the beauty of weather! Keep in mind, the results of this Contest is based off of a grading system explained in THIS blog, and each picture is carefully analyzed for details. Before we get to the results, WC would like to share some of its latest info with you. If you haven’t seen yet, on WC’s homepage when you are logged in there is a “Latest News” area where WC posts its latest updates there sometimes with also some helpful tips and upcoming events!
Here’s what’s new with Weather Center this month:
- WC just reached over 4,400 views on September 20th! Share WC with your friends today to spread the news about Weather Center!
- WC published its new page “Major US Hurricanes“! See the top stats on the most destructive Hurricanes in History!
- WC published its new page “What is a Hurricane?” and “What is a Derecho?“
- WC published its new page “Air Quality Map“!
- WC changed its Home Page up a bit with current season status and moon/sky data!
