My name is Joshua. I’m a 20-year-old weather enthusiast with a lifelong passion for understanding and predicting the ever-changing skies. Storm chasing and forecasting severe weather in the DFW area have been at the heart of my journey. I founded Texas Weather Center (TWC) with a vision to deliver accurate, high-quality, and localized weather information tailored specifically for the DFW community.
Recognizing the frustration many felt with glitchy, unreliable weather apps that failed to forecast severe weather accurately, I set out to create something better. TWC offers an engaging and informative platform, featuring custom-designed, detailed weather models and real-time updates shared on Facebook to ensure our community remains informed, prepared, and safe.
Weather is as unpredictable and dangerous as it is awe-inspiring. Through TWC, my goal is to inform, warn, and safeguard the community against the severe weather we face. I hope to earn the trust of our community and leave a meaningful, lasting impact through the work we do at Texas Weather Center.
